Partnership Opportunity
Calling US Manufacturers & Business Partners
Help us bring Sleeparate back to USA customers.
The USA is one of our biggest markets, and we’re looking for a small US-based manufacturer or an existing product business interested in partnering with us to manufacture Sleeparate products locally.
We’re not looking for a large factory. We’d actually prefer to start small, producing one or two units at a time, get the process right, build consistency and gradually increase production as demand grows.
We can provide the product knowledge, manufacturing instructions and guidance, including where to source the required materials such as fabric, wadding, Corflute and buckles.
The manufacturing process involves cutting materials, sewing, upholstery work, assembly, attaching labels, quality checking, packing and preparing orders for delivery.
We’ll continue to manage the Sleeparate brand, website, marketing and customer relationships from New Zealand.
We’re open to discussing a fair commercial partnership where manufacturing and local fulfilment are handled in the USA and revenue is shared under mutually agreed terms.
If you’re a small manufacturer, upholsterer, sewing business or an existing product business with the right skills and an interest in growing something together, we’d love to hear from you.
Are you a:
- Small upholstery and sewing businesses – Someone who already has industrial sewing equipment, cutting tables and practical fabric-working skills.
- Skilled independent operator – A capable individual or very small business who could start with a handful of orders and grow with demand.
Interested in exploring an opportunity together?
A personal note from Sleeparate Founders
We’re a small New Zealand business, and we’ve been fortunate enough to already have customers in the USA who love our products.
Unfortunately, the cost of shipping from New Zealand to the United States has become a real challenge. At current shipping costs, we simply can’t compete as we would like to, and we don’t want that to mean losing the opportunity to serve our American customers.
So, rather than give up on the US market, I’m looking for a practical way forward.
We’d love to connect with a small US manufacturer, skilled sewing or upholstery business, or an existing product business that might be interested in working with us.
The idea is to start small, manufacture locally, get the process right and grow together as demand increases. We can provide the product knowledge, manufacturing guidance and material sourcing information, while continuing to look after the brand, website and marketing from New Zealand.
I’m not looking for a big corporation or a complicated arrangement. Just the right person or small business who sees an opportunity to build something together.
We’ve worked hard to build Sleeparate, and we’d really love to keep making it available to our US customers.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in exploring, I’d genuinely love to hear from you.
